Yayy this is your first assignment online! This assignment is on Edpuzzle with 2 videos covering the topic of Figurative language. I will be able to see the videos you view, so please watch both of them!
The first video is called "Figurative language and other literary devices". You don't need to take notes on the video, since we will be taking notes in class next week on this lesson. I put in quiz questions on this video so please pay attention if you want to get the questions right and get a good score! The second video is more for fun and doesn't test you on anything, but still watch it if you want a good score! It uses Disney movies as examples of figurative language. So have fun learning about Figurative Language! Go to http://www.schoology.com and press the button that says "Sign up." Say that you are signing in as a student. Your class code is

This is a preparatory class before taking 7th grade English after summer. We will be focusing on grammar use, literary devices, reading comprehension, and writing.
In our class, we will be using technology as a tool to learn. For future jobs, you will be needed to have technology skills and be able to use advanced technology. Therefore, I will be integrating the use of technology into our learning! We will be using Google as a source of our learning (Gmail, Google drive, Google docs, etc...). For assignments, I will post them on the "Stream" tab of this website. You will be turning assignments in to me either on this website or through Gmail. So there you go! Have fun in this course! (: |
